Perhaps my two most well-respected pastors are having a live conversation tomorrow (Wed) night about race and the Christian, and Anthony Bradley is the moderator. I heard Bradley give a talk about social justice at Jubilee 2011, and he was good.

“I am profoundly persuaded that this is not a social issue. It’s a blood issue, because Jesus said, ‘I ransomed you, that I might gather you from all the peoples of the world,” in Revelation 5:9, and so tribe, race, people, nation, are coming into one priesthood, one kingdom, through the blood. And therefore any attempt to make this issue somehow marginal, as if it were an elective justice issue, is mistaken. It is a core blood-atonement Christ-exalting issue.”
